Why are there so many little n***s running yahoo freecycle groups?

i was banned from one for daring to argue with the moderator, and 'unsubcribed' for agueing with another modeator because i wanted to post a thank you message.

I started a Freecycle group in my old hometown; because the closest one to us was WAY too big.  Freecycle itself is becoming a machine of sorts.  They want all groups to follow the same rules; and in enforcing this, they have neglected to allow the individual owners and moderators leeway in decision-making on the spot.  

There are some power-happy mods out there, thankfully I wasn't one of them.  I personally didn't care how many groups my members joined; as long as they were polite and followed the set-in-stone rules set forth by Freecycle.  Beyond that, I was pretty laid back; but other mods were cyber-dictators, you give them a little power and they went way beyond the scope of their authority.  

The reason it's so bad right now is that Freecycle has grown too big too quickly; and they're struggling to retain control and manage day-to-day operations.  If they aren't careful they'll fall flat on their faces and lose complete control of the system.

i know how you feel, i was in this group where the moderator was a total n**i! she said we couldnt join any other groups related to the same thing out there, but she was in every group out there! then she kicked this girl out because the number on her group was the same as the number she changed it to... she was so full if BS i ciuldnt stand it. so a bunch of us got mad at her and we yelled at her and dforced the truth in her face and she kicked us out. so we maed our own groups and then she tried to join them and just to ruin them because we "ruined" her group. she even got her older brother to try and ruin the groups...shes so imatture....and she lies about EVERYTHING... uggh... little n**i freak

i agree, i hate my moderators, BUT i love the concept of freecyle! it is a GREAT idea, but their controlling way scare off people!!!!!

and no...i have never been in trouble with them, but i read all their constant complaining and all the messages that say it was edited by moderator.

they neede to get a life! LOL
