Why are there so many log on steps to yahoo?

right now you have to go through two links and then you get to logon...why can't you just log on at the main yahoo page and be done with it?...no links

  1. You can log on from the main Yahoo page, www.yahoo.com. on the right side of the page. Works for me anyway. One sign on gives me access to all services but the classic messenger.

  5. Well, the answer is on this page, above me, but if you're not sure, you'll never find it. Here's what you do. On your Yahoo page, in the search box, type in Yahoo sign in, it's going to take you to a page where you look for Yahoo Sign in Network

    or something like that. By signing in to this, you'll only have to sign in every two weeks, or so. But REMEMBER, you must also fill in the "remember me" box, at least once in order for the computer to hold on to your log in sequence, understand?
