This brings me to another question. Why are there so many chinese in Singapore table-tennis, badminton, basketball, water polo, swimming team? Go ponder!

As a singaporean myself, most of the parents of the other races encourage their kids to do a paper-chase first. Meaning, concentrate on getting as much education as possible. Leisure activities are not encouraged seriously.

But malays usually pick up the sport at an early age and to be honest, dream of becoming professional footballers.. Like Fandi who played professionally for Ajax...

It's not stereotyping at all, but that's the way it is...
