I don't know if Obama heard any of his tirade, but a lot of his fellow church goers seem to be crazy about that trash. Is it common in that environment?

  2. I had a discussion at length with a black girl who told me that we white people have to understand that a lot of their views come from the church.  In white church you dont hear hate speech, so white people are naive about it.  In black church its all about poor us blame white people apparently.  So anyways, its very common.  Obama is benefitting from white peoples' ignorance of this/naivite.  He of course heard it and admitted that he heard Wright say things that would be considered controversial.  White people need to wake up and understand that blacks are organized against us and we are disorganized.

  3. OLD NEWS.

No one cares about Rev. Wright, besides you.

You've played that card, it didn't work, remember?

Find a new argument, please. You're beating a dead horse.

  4. What enviroment are you referring to? If you are trying to ask if this is what go on in all black chruches then the answer is no.My pastor teach about love thy neighbor and treat people the way that you want to be treated. But I have to wonder what goes on in your ENVIROMENT!

  5. Yes, they still think that white people owe them something, and they should have "black pride" over American pride.

  6. Who cares about Rev. Wright and his ranting already?........move pass this why don't you!

Rev . Wrights ranting is not affecting my vote for Obama one bit. Just like Palin's pregnant daughter ( who obviously does not practice her mothers philosophy of abstainence) does not affect your vote for McCain!

  7. Of course he heard it he went to that church for over 20 years.

  8. Yes, why do you listen to it?  You are so enthralled by it, I bet you could recite it word for word.

  9. I'm not sure why you can't look at this the other way:  "If there are thousands of people of every color who belong to this church and attend most Sundays, is it possible that the few excerpts I heard might have been out of context and/or misinterpreted?"  There are thousands of good people from Chicago who belong to this church.  They have spoken out to say that Rev. Wright's words and philosophy were twisted and perverted and that he is a good man.  In the face of this, why do some people insist on continuing to believe that their opinion of Rev. Wright is correct and that these people must be the crazy ones?  I don't get that.

Do you ever reconsider your first opinions based on new facts?

  10. It's sad, but there are a lot of people in this country who are into that kind of hate.  It's easier to listen and hate than actually think for oneself and go out there to make something of yourself despite those who don't like you.

  11. sure, racism isn't limited to white people

  12. .... oh he heard them alright.. and dismissed it as being okay.. so now we know what he thinks of Whtie America don't we.

  13. I wonder if Obama was actually out campaigning?  I don't know if this is common.  But even with all of this...I cannot vote for the Maverick and the Eskimo.

  14. Actually Wright raised some good points in his , ah, rants,I guess is a good word.

I found nothing really wrong with anything he said, and it was certainly not unamerican in any way.

I am a white guy though so I guess I am a bit prejudiced.

I also lack the standard American fear that a group who accounts for far less than 10% of your population is going to take over your country any time soon.
