Especially in Chinatown!!! Why so many???

  1. Because this is America, and we are a blend of people. So we have a variety to choose from and try each one.

    Eating is part of life. You eat when your bored, you eat when you celebrate a special occasion, you eat when you're happy, depressed, angry.

    Whenever there's a party of some sort, there's food. Food is a neccesity.

    And of course, everyone thinks they can outdo the other person, cooking wise, so that is why there are soo many restaurants!

  4. Restaurants are always a sure way to get business. Everyone has to eat.

  5. Simply put, dining is a source of pleasure for many people. And one of the greatest pleasures is to find something new and different to eat. Think about it, food that tastes good to you create pleasure, and it is one of the few pleasures that you don't have to sweat and work hard at as long as you can afford to pay. ^^ Unless you only like burgers and fries, you would want a lot of different choices.

    As to why in Chinatown, Chinese are famous for their cooking. They also have a HUGE variety of food that they eat, not just sweet and sour dishes. It is not surprising that there are tons of restaurants in Chinatown to offer different regional cooking.
