Why are there so many social climbers in Darien, CT who wear pink & green & lie about their college education?

One girl, Dara P. told me she went to school in Boston when she went to some no name school in Upstate New York.

She also told me she owned the house her MBA husband and baby live in, but it turned out to be a rental and her husband dropped out of college his freshman year (working as pool salesman).

The intense social pressure to keep up with the neighbors sometimes overpowers our will to be honest and truthful.

The ones who apply that pressure need to accept some responsibility for these types of behavior.
