Why are there so many songs about rainbows and what's on the other side?

    hoping that a better place is within

    your grasp, something to help along  

    life's road.

  3. Its like a hope thing. It gives you something to look forward too. Like better things are on the horizon, and better things will come tomorrow. Kind of like that.

    Its also about dreams. Rainbows are mystical things, and people like to hope dreams come true on the other side of a rainbow.

  4. Rainbows are a symbol of renewed hope because they are something beautiful coming after something dark. Because they appear to touch the earth, it is natural to wonder where that is.
