Why are there so many women against female's right to take their shirt of in public like men?

If you think it's indecent, you think it's indecent.  It's just a cultural thing.

When the Ontario supreme court threw out indecency charges against a woman for being topless, there was a flurry of panic about moms potentially showing up topless at school to pick up their kids, or ladies showing off their pierced nipples on public transit.  But when that didn't happen, people seem to have chilled out.

As a female...honestly I really dont care.  As a feminist there a a lot of other issues to worry about and fight over..once again I dont care.

Why is it only men that seem so worried about this?.........oh ya I know never mind....which brings us back to the reason why it wont happen.  Yall care to much.

I don't exactly care if other women go around in public without shirts, but I don't really understand why women would want to draw attention to themselves like that.

Wome nowadays are always moaning about sexual harrassment, and I would have thought going around topless was likely to increase that.

Because of the Bible, usually. Religious types get super uppity about nudity.

But I think women should go topless if they want.

It is a non issue. The various state and federal court's have already ruled that it is legal for women to go topless where it is legal for men to do so as well.

    So far anyone women punished for going topless where it is ok for men to do the same has never lost a court case(within the last few years)

Women are jealous creatures by nature.  If they start pushing this, as wonderful as it would be in the South where it is 100 degrees on any given day, they would have to tolerate the men seeing other women's blessed bosoms.  I bet that would go over like a lead balloon.  This coming from a woman with a very blessed chest!

i dont really know. i suppose because men would find joy in it & if women do it, they would be searching for equality, yet if men are seeking joy from  it, then it is pointless and demeaning. so i suppose if men would not be all perverted and whistle & stuff if that were to happen, then women would probably be for it.

for my opinion, women should be able to do everthing men can do, so i am totally pro-women taking their shirts off. if they want men to stare, then thats their choice & decision.

But in the same stance, a woman breastfeeding her child in public is discouraged by men, yet you want us to be able to go topless without them being used for their primary purpose?
