  1. I agree with that as long as the adult isn't like over 28. and the teen under 16.

  2. These laws are on the books to protect minors. In law a minor is deemed too young to consent to s*x. In my country to age of consent is sixteen.

  3. The laws are there to protect minors from the vultures.

Even though puberty allows sexual reproduction to take place, not all organs of the body mature at the same time.  This is fairly obvious just by observing pubescent kids - sometimes they will have very long necks, or arms, or legs.  All the pieces just don't mature at the same rate.

The same is true with the internal organs, such as the brain.  Studies have shown that in regards to driving, there is a big difference between the ages of 16 and 18 in regards to having better judgment for driving.

So if the human brain isn't ready for driving at the age of 16, then it most likely isn't ready to make good judgments about s*x either.

Which is why there are different laws about drinking, driving, voting, going into the military - and having s*x.  You can be ready for one thing a one age, but not ready for all things.

  4. Yeah but in america, 18 yrs and above is legal.

  5. ONLY 23 is irrelevant, you're an adult, they're children legally and emotionally, and that's why those laws exist.

  6. when i was 22 and turned 23 i was dating a 17 year old....and that was bad enough...

  7. That's creepy.

    PERV!

  8. That's messed up dude. A 15 year old hardly knows what he or she wants to wear to school or have for lunch, never mind whether to have s*x with an adult with experience and higher maturity level (which YOU are clearly lacking).

  9. Because 15 y/o's are not able to make good decisions for themselves and there are people who take advantage of this.....and that makes it wrong. Yes, biologically and by nature, puberty used to be a sign that someone is ready but it's the emotional aspect of it that is considered. Mentally a 15 y/o cannot handle the repercussions of irresponsible decisions, such as pregnancy or sexually transmitted diseases!

For the record....there's something really disturbing about you being 23 and thinking that 15 y/o's are "HAWT"

  10. You said it all Corrin!

  11. There are 12 years olds that have a full grown woman's body, where do you draw the line?  16 is too young for you.  People will automatically assume you can't get anyone your own age, that is sad in itself.

  12. But in britain, its legal once you are 16, though lots don't care about the age thing and still do it, they feel that the person who is under age isn't mature enough to handle their emotions and the person who is older does know and that they are taking advantage.

  13. There is a very big difference between being an adult physically and being an adult emotionally.

statutory rape laws are there to protect people who have passed through puberty and not yet achieved emotional maturity.

Mentally they are still too young to make a fully informed decision as to whether to consent or not.

Hot or not, leave them be and be with someone around your age.

  14. thats quite nasty

  15. emotional development and physical development are 2 different things. im glad you dont live next to me and my kids. you wouldnt last long !

  16. 15 yr olds are not mentally ready for s*x dude. At 23 your a full adult!

We'll be seeing you on Dateline NBC's 'To Catch a Predator' soon
