Does it exist in countries where it is believed that not all humans are created equal and a title must be given to separate the rich from the poor? Or is it just plain tradition?

  1. Why not, I have Royal friends and they are the coolest, most unassuming people I've ever met, they're common, they don't act "uppity,"  they laugh joke, very cool people.

  2. because the country is still practicing monarchy..

no princes means no next ruler.

  3. just tradition

  4. Because without Royalty, there would be no strandards for the society.

Where do you think the pinnacles of society are upheld, and shown for others to emulate?

When you want to move up to refinery, and dignity, you must raise yourself. How can you possible do that if there is noone above you at the highest refinement level, for you to learn from?

Royalty in any country is a symbol of the greatness of that nation. They are the epitaph of what is desirable, and what is decent. They uphold the moral fabric of any society.

A good king is a blessing to his nation. A nation takes pride in a king who is popular, yet reserved, and loved; especially if he is held in high regard overseas as well. The whole world sees a nation through the eyes the leader of that Nation.

Think of this: What do you think of when you see Hugo Chavez? Now think of Tony Blair. Now think of Germany and what your opinion is because of Hitler.

    Do you see my point?

The only difference between a monarch and these people is that they did not take the monarchy upon themselves. But they are in positions of kingship, anyway.

    Only the ignorant despise royalty.

  5. Becuase in this celebrity obsessed culture we live in, they represent the ultimate and unatainable celebrity status that everyone truly desires. They are a paragon, so they will always be there... until we all see sense.

  6. Why are there people called Rothschild, Kardasian, Fayed,  out there. Are not all people born equal, but some have money and think they are greater then others and live like that. They do nothing but make more money. How does their existence improve the world ?

  7. england, france

  8. Well, I don't think it has anything to do with equality or being rich or poor. I agree that every human is created equal and are equal when they are born, but as they grow older and more mature, that is not the case. There needs to be people of authority to run a country, if not there will be mayhem.

There are different positions leaders may hold such as "Minister", "Prime Minister", "Queen" and "Prince". The title "Prince" or "Princess" denotes a royal position of power.  With that title bestowed, it means they have more work and engagements to carry out.  It is in some ways tradition.  I feel that those titles are not meant to be controversial or a way to separate the rich from the poor, it is simply a title given to people of a royal position of power. With great power comes great responsibility, so it isn't just fun and games for royalty! :)

  9. It's a tradition that has been a part of the country's life for years. They don't do much, but are respected. There are some strict caste systems out there that do this. It's just saying that (if i wuz queen) i'm better than u and im filthy rich so ha.

  10. It's mostly tradition, but if you look at some of the countries with royalty, there are serious caste systems in place.  (look at Saudi Arabia, for example).
