earl boykins (thought he was a bobcat now)

sam cassell (old but sharpshooter)

ronald dupree (was good backup to chauncey in 06)

ben gordon (self explanatory)

robert horry (good veteran that knows how to knock down a shot or two, also realize he doesn't have to play all 48)

lindsay hunter (come on, pistons, he was pretty good last year!)

damon stoudamire (was good in memphis.)

robert swiff \

delonte west / both decent players.

most complete answer gets best, of course, everyone with decent answers or part answers gets thumbs up (1 pt)

  1. Earl Boykins - signed with a team in Italy

Sam Cassell - teams are interested, weighing his options

Ronald Dupree - not much interest (he is not a PG, he is a SF btw)

Ben Gordon - refuses to sign 1 year qualifying offer, wants multi-year deal and claims he has played his last game with Chicago

Robert Horry - not much interest (despite the reputation, he did not play well last year)

Lindsay Hunter - I believe he is considering retirement

Damon Stoudamire - was NOT good in memphis, which is why they waived him.  However, he is drawing interest as a backup to many teams

Robert Swift - still recovering from a severe knee injury

Delonte West - at a standoff with Cleveland because they are loaded with PG's and he has no other leverage than being a restricted FA

Hope that helps...that's pretty much the main facts, didn't wanna bore you with my opinions

  2. Earl is in italy, lol...sam is old (and UGLY)....dupree not good enuff defender, so questions....ben, great scorer but lacks hieght teams have problems with short players, especially ones that wanna start, he deserves to(one of the best clutch players in the league....big shot rob cant play, he just hits clutch shot, did you seem him last year, he was moving as fast as luc longley(lol).....hunter the pistons are stacked at guard and lindsay is a great backup but he's been beat for that too, so now throw in age, now teams dont want a shorter but good defensive, good shooter....damon is just a misfit, and his confidence is shot.....swiff whiffed.....west, i believe he's headed over seas, but he needs to, he's good but just not good enuff quick enuff potent enuff defends enuff pass enuff.....

  3. 1. Earl Boykins: Still isn't all the way back from missing the first 50 games of the season.

    2. Sam Cassell: Had injured his wrist in Game 2 and was day-to-day heading into the game. He was eventually replaced by Eddie House...thats why.

    3. Ronald Dupree: On the rare occasions he was active on Detriot, he was always expected to be the LAST man on the bench.

    4. Ben Gordon: Said he wouldn't sign the Bulls' one-year qualifying offer of $6.4 million...I see a SPRWELL case unfolding.

    5. Robert Horry: Decided against retirement and will return to the NBA next season but no one is returning to him...he can always do stunt doubles for Will Smith.

6.Lindsey Hunter: Was forced to play longer than anticipated in game 4 against Orlando due to Rodney Stuckey foul trouble and Billups injurie...Hunter had eight points, three rebounds and three assists in 26 minutes...when his team needed him the most...ouch

    7. D.Stoudamire: is confusing because last time he played he had 11 points including two 3-pointers in 22 minutes as the Spurs defeated the Pacers...go figure.

    8. Robert Swift: was issued a one-year qualifying offer worth about $3.5 million...he's unlikely to get anything better than that with his problematic knees.

    9. Mr.West: Is discussing a two-year, $10 million offer with Dynamo Moscow of Euroleague...NBA WHO?

    10. THIS QUESTION IS WORK BRO

  4. Most of these players are aging or awaiting contracts/figuring out what they're team is doing. Boykins went to play in Europe. Lindsay and Horry and contemplating retirement. Delonte is fighting free agents and getting offers from Europe but said he would prefer to stay in the States. Damon is aging as well and will most likely hang up the sneaks. Swiff is just horrible and hes extremely injury prone. Gordon is awaiting a supposed sign and trade from the Bulls but that most likely wont happen. Cassel is a dirty player and gives some teams bad images. Hes also thinks he still can play and often becomes a cancer by asking for more playing time and taking way too many shots when on the court. But of course, if he doesn't get signed in the off season, and which wont he won't unless he gets something better then the veteran minimum, he'll wait around until mid season and latch on with a team that's making a championship push. Look for the Hornets to look at him.

  5. earl boykins (thought he was a bobcat now) - probably negoiating with other teams

sam cassell (old but sharpshooter) - money problems (salary cap)

ronald dupree (was good backup to chauncey in 06) - probably his game declined

ben gordon (self explanatory) - he wants more from the bulls, 12++M a year (deng is 11++M) his reason, he;s been the highgest scorer in the bulls resurgence

robert horry (good veteran that knows how to knock down a shot or two, also realize he doesn't have to play all 48) - thinking retirement

lindsay hunter (come on, pistons, he was pretty good last year!) - thinking retirement also

damon stoudamire (was good in memphis.) - game is on a declined since he's injury in memphis

robert swiff \ - negotiating still

delonte west / both decent players. - Cavs are thinking if they will resign west and probably they will not since they sign a point guard Mo williams.

  6. Earl Boykins - He signed a 3.5 million dollar contract with Virtus Bologna of the Italian League.

Sam Cassell - Still waiting, some team in need of a backup or third string point guard will pick him up sooner or later.

Ronald Dupree - He could resign with Oklahoma City, but it's likely he'll head overseas.

Ben Gordon - Wants to start, and wants a multi year deal. He may stay in Chicago because they can match any offer a team makes to him.

Robert Horry - Wants to play one more year, but San Antonio has not offered him a one year deal. I'm sure he'll be picked up, but it may not be a contender. You nkow how players always return to the teams they started with? Watch out for him in Houston...

Lindsey Hunter - Might play one more year as player/coach for our Pistons. Detroit is trying to convince him to play one more year, he still is a tenacious defender.

Damon Stoudamire - Some teams are interested, Boston is one option if Cassell doesn't return. Didn't play well with Memphis or San Antonio last year.

Robert Swift - Recovering from a torn lateral meniscus, he's still with Oklahomas City ATM.

Delonte West - With Mo Williams starting and Gibson as the backup he is the odd man out. Any offer Delonte gets Cleveland probably won't match.
