Why are these "artist" performing at the VMAS ?!?

Most of these people are nobodys, and not even taleneted....why are they performing? for example

JONAS BROTHERS!?

ok their voices suck and they only appeal to 15 year old girls and under, seriously have you ever heard someone bumping a jonas brothers song while driving around? NO not around here, maybe if you wanna get laughed at...

KID ROCK wtf!?

this guy goes away for about 10 years and then comes back, hes not even worth my time NEXT

LIL WAYNE ok this guy i think ive heard a few of his songs but seriously i cant remember because i dont know if its, lil waynes, lil john, or idk how much of these LIL people are its very annoying but Lil Wayne - A Milli is a good song so he passes.....

PARAMORE- this band is just another "i want to be cool too! so let me listen to whatever everyone else is listening to" kind of band, so NEXT they suck the music is that kind that you are ashamed of listening to...

PINK is actually talented, she worked her way up and im looking forward to see her next.

RIHANNA ok shes ok catchy music, pretty girl, but if you think about it her music isnt really HERS, some yes but not all, research it and youll know =]

if it was up to me i wouldnt want to see the jonas brothers open the show, thats a nice way of saying this years VMAS are gonna suck!!! i think britney should have opened the show, im not really a fan, but she always seems to shock everyone and its kind of funny, and now that shes been getting better, even though i think she is going to perform but its a secret, but MUSIC IS GETTING STUPIDER AND STUPIDER

I was going to agree, until the Paramore part.

And if you really don't know who T.I. is, you know nothing of today's mainstream music.

Lil Jon has not made a song for I don't know how long....

wow if you think that your can do so much of a better job why don't your get off your sorry butt and try doing what these people are doing instead of sitting here and complaining about it, it takes guts to stand in front of a crowd of like 15,000 people and sing.

ummm rihanna and pink are both awesome and freakin talented!!

alot of people do like the jonas brothers.

paramore are awesome for a bunch of teenagers.

You forgot to add Britney on your list. I don't care if she's gonna make a 2nd comeback. She's still a terrible singer whose fame is based on her striptease act on her videos and her shocking scandals. I have never liked her since the very beginning of her career. There are many other artists with more talent who deserve more attention and recognition than her. Next!

rihanna is pretty good, i think she deserves to be on there

pink is talented, yes, but she isnt as big as she used to be

im not a big fan of rap so i have nothing to say about TI and lil wayne

i love paramore and if you think there music sucks then you seem to me that your one of those music "critics" that disses all other music that you may not consider something you like.

and the jonas brothers are very talented actually. and most of their fans range from up to the 20s. and older. its not an age category its a type of music. and a lot of people like it. so give them a break. and your comment, their voices suck is very untrue also. do you think they would be in the music business if their voices sucked? NO. would they be writing their own songs and have the number 1 album. NO. would they be selling out tours worldwide? DONT THINK SO.

you might not like their music, but you have no right to say their voices suck; nicks voice is the best ive heard in a long time to actually make it big so good for him, and good for them.

We all have different music taste and opinions!

Why are they performing?

Perhaps because they made it big this past year.

The Jonas Brothers are amazing and I am glad they are performing! =)
