Why are these rims so cheap?

Ive looked all over, and these rims are so cheap, i would like to get a set, but first i want to know why they are so cheap. they are Drag brand. The ones i want specificaly are the dr-14.

Bad metal imported from China.

More than I'd be willing to pay, even if i could afford it. If they really are cheap, they could be a factory direct thing, or imported with low quality.

Chinese.  Not necessarily cheap either.  Lately China has been "dumping" inferior products in the USA for super cheap prices betting that we will not mind the poor quality.  Look around, almost every wheel shop can get you some super inexpensive 17's or 18's.  Be warned, the wheels are not up to SAE strength standards and could be dangerous depending how you use them.

Probably b/c they were imported from China. I'd inquire about them before I bought them. I'd be very concerned about the quality of the metal if that's the case. Last thing you want is a wheel to warp under heat & stress and have an air leak.
