  1. Most Shias, if not all, will find the term Rafidah very offensive. Ahmadis don't usually get offended by the use of Qidyani, though it isn't the correct term and they prefer Ahmadi. An offensive term to many Sunnis is "Wahhabi" which tends to carry a very negative connotation. I think that people who use offensive terms are very ignorant, and for most, just trying to start trouble. I call them by what they want to be called, that's how it should be.

  2. Rafidah is funny and weird, and I dont think either is derogatory.....Qadyani comes from a places name...nothing defamatory...

The only defamatory name for a muslim is Mushrik, which will be severely punished by God when He judges us

And the mockers will be punished too...

"Thus do We cause this habit of mocking to enter into the hearts of the sinful people. (Quran 15:12)"

  3. rifada is the aqeeda's name. there are different aqeeda like wasitiyya, tahawi ...............

so rafida is the aqeeda that the shia's follow.

qadiyani is i think the name of the mirza person. i think cuz his name is mirza gulam ahmed qadiyani.

or maybe it could be the name of the place as someone said above.

  4. Very good question!!

Qadyani is a person from Qadian, much like an American is a person from America.

It's like calling all Muslims Arabians when obviously Islam is a worldwide and cross national religion.

Likewise, Ahmadi Muslims prefer to be called Ahmadi Muslims and not Qadyanis because like Arab Muslims, only a minority of Ahmadi Muslims are actually from Qadian.  Being an Arab does not neccessarily mean you follow Islam as there are Arab Christians as well.  Being qadiyani does not neccessarily mean you follow Islam as there are Hindus, Sikhs, and Christians in Qadian.

So some non Muslims mock Muslims by stereotyping them as Arabs and similarly some non Ahmadi Muslims mock Ahmadi Muslims by stereotyping them as Qadiyanis.  I don't really mind it, but it's interesting to me how people who mock, be they Christians or Muslims, behave in the same unIslamic way.

The name Ahmad is the root of Muhammad.  Hence why Hazrat Ahmad (as) chose for this Jammat to be called Jamaat Ahmadiyya, so that people may recognize that these are Muslims who follow the peaceful and perfect example of Muhammad (sa) and have accepted the Imam Mahdi and Messih of the age.

love for all, hatred for none

  5. i don't find it defamatory

    Rafidah r who refuse Khilafah

Ahmadis is a denominative from ahmad ghulam qadiani

  6. If you call me Rafida for rejecting Muawiya and Yazid, then count me in.

  7. All are tuskan raider \ sandpeople from star wars.

It is erroneous to call them jawas as they are representative of indians.
