Why are they executing fat people in america prisons

The inmate has filed a lawsuit claiming that due to his diabetes and the fact that he is taking migraine headache medicine he is too large and the anesthesia that is given before the chemical to induce death will not work therefore it is inhumane for the state to administer the drugs to execute him.  What the lawsuit does not address is that he was convicted of BRUTALLY raping and killing two women in the early 80's and the inhumane way that they were murdered.

Because he is a murder who  deserved death long time ago but he had been fed  so well in the prison with our taxpayer's money  for so long to get fat. No matter he was fat or slim, he deserved death.

They aren't. The man in question is claiming he is too fat and the lethal injection wouldn't reach his veins. I say get longer needles. He killed two women.

I am against the death penalty in any case, I just wonder if the guys in lock up hear that they won't start on a new diet regime to put on the pounds. I sure know I be doing that if it stopped me been murdered by the state.

I don't think they are executing people because they are fat. There was a case in Washington state a few years back where a guy was going to be hanged but he put on so much weight in prison, he won an appeal that to hang him would be cruel and unusual punishment, something about his neck not being strong enough to support his weight and the possibility of ripping his head from his body. I do believe he won the appeal but died of some physical complication a short time later.

Have you ever seen a fat persons shopping bill?......not only that they can't afford loo roll for them too....Any one fat person will spend at least three times the average on food of which most is junk.
