  1. It's because the 7th book is so long. The book is a bit longer than most of the others and so many loose ends are tied up, that there are very few things that could be taken out of the story, so they are making it into two films. Even the most die-hard of HP fans probably wouldn't sit through a five hour movie.

  2. why? because of $$$.

Warner Bros. know they can't make anymore Harry Potter movies after the 7th, so how do they solve that dilemma?

    easy: two movies.

    it's all about the paper.

and i know there was a lot of info in the last book,

but there's a lot of info in ALL of the books!

why not just turn each book into 2 movies?

  3. In making the announcement, Robinov stated, "It has been an honor for our studio to be entrusted with bringing J.K. Rowling's extraordinary book series to the screen, and we have always felt a great responsibility to be true to her vision. In concluding the film franchise, we recognized that 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' is packed with vital plot points that complete the story arcs of all of its beloved characters. That said, we feel that the best way to do the book, and its many fans, justice is to expand the screen adaptation of 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' and release the film in two parts. We could not imagine the final chapter of the film franchise being in better hands than those of David Yates."

  4. Because the book has alot of info in it and it will need to be like 4-5hrs long to get it all in

  5. Did you read the final book? I don't think you could possibly make a final movie without splitting up the film and completely covering all the things neccessary that were in the book.  They missed so many things in all of the other books it's shocking!
