Why are they so obsessed about eradicating the brown apple moth and not the flea or the louse?

It is pretty much imposible to eradicate the flea or lose, they have been bothering us for tens of thousand of years.  And even if it was posible there is not a huge economic benifit.  This brown apple moth will devistate crops if it is not eradicated.

Fleas were big in the ''black death'' a few hundred years ago...........There are so many different varieties of fleas........

the moth is just one kind.specific........easier to control.............

I'm not well-read on the subject, but it seems they do some major damage to crops, regardless of the species. They're like the biggest pigs of the insect world!
