Why are they waiting 117 days to brodcast the main even final table?

Why wait that long to do the final table?

I have asked a similar question before, and I believe that Lon MacCaren (sp?) and Norm Chad are not actually at the Main Event doing commentary live.  Their commentary is added in later in post production.  From what I understand, there is no sound proof booth with those two in it so their commentary has to be added in later.  I am sure that you are also aware that we are seeing a very small fraction of the hands played.  They need a lot of time to filter through the hands and pick the most exciting and important ones and then have entertaining commentary added in later.

e playerscan use this time to get advertisers .that could even be worth about a million or so each

it also to build up hype .by the time the show it on hte same day we will all have favorites by then.

This is the first year theya re doing this and if it works out watch for it to continue

Have you ever wondered why there is a week between the NFL conference championships and the superbowl?  They get a free week of media for the league.

Harrah's is trying to milk the exposure for all it is worth.  The nine finalists of the main event will receive ninth place money and reconvene in November to play down to two.  The next day head's up for the title.  Each player is free to obtain endorsement money for the final table.  If you were an unknown, you may be able to get sponsorship into the next tournament.

Sounds like a good idea for poker but why they are waiting several months?
