I am actually curious to know why half of the stuff you see on the news is considered 'news.' But seriously, who gives a d**n that katie Holmes cut her hair?

  1. It isn't news to me either but unfortunately there are a lot of people who love to read about this kind of stuff.  If people didn't buy into it then the media wouldn't report it...kind of like supply and demand.  I couldn't imagine being a celebrity.  I'd have to wear a disguise just to go to the store to buy tampons so the newspaper didn't tell the world what time of the month I might be cranky.

  2. You want the real reason why there is so much fluff and no substance.

It's because the media elite want the general public ignorant about the eroding of our rights the undermining of our governmental system and the real power brokers in washington I'm talking the King makers not the so-called kings themselves are sheltered by this smoke screen. the general public have been fed this pablum for years in an attempt to destroy this nation (how can you have a one world government if you still have a superpower on the block) there are powers at work that believe this world is full of unnecessary eaters and that the population needs to drop to around 500 million for so called sustainabillity do you really think that you would find this information making its way to the 6"O clock news or who controls the media in general. there is 6 major media outlets in america and if you look on the board of directors you will find many of the names showing up over and over again and your right no one really gives a fig about celebrity B.S, after a while you just ignore the news PERIOD.

  3. They're celebrities. Why do we care about them in the first place?

  4. Not me!

Certain times of year are known as "the silly season" because not a lot goes on and journalists get desperate for copy. Aside from that, they just pander to the cult of celebrity. The only people who could possibly care about a haircut have nothing else to think about all day.

  5. Yeah really, who cares about her hair? The news people are trying to distract us from the important stuff. You know, like Paris Hilton's ad.
