I personally think they look hot on girls but I've never heard of wearing them with jeans ... maybe a jean skirt or shorts but jean pants??? THATS fug

Same reason as crocs and uggs.

I personally like some of the more down played gladiator sandals though.

I like some of them them. I don't like the leather ones, or ones that go higher than the ankle. I would like a pair of white ones that stop at the ankles.

I guess people pick and chose the fashions they like. I personally don't like baby doll tops or skinny jeans, but it is just a preference thing.

you know when a celebrity wears something...it goes into style.

also...a bunch of  high fashion stylist made them...meaning alot of people bought them for the sake that a high fashion stylist made them.

i actually liked them for a couple months...but nvr got them because i know its a one season trend. so they will prob be over this winter

I know, right? I think they're ugly as h**l.

Probably some designer slapped them on a couple pretty models so people naturally copy-cat top models. That's why. But I really think they should only wear those in movies like 300! lol.

Well I have this one pair that is really cute, it's gold colored, and it is only on my foot. when my mom bought a pair to her ankle I asked her why did you buy yoga shoes LOL!!! but mine are just like sandals but they have a ring for the toe then it goes up with flowers on it.

some of them are cute

the ones that have straps that go all the way around your ankles and up to your knees look like your about to get tangled up and break your legs haha
