  1. Because its a great show, and its not easy to see all those teams, usually a lot of people have to travel a lot to see them and because its worhty. Lets hope the PUMAS win this cup.

  2. It's the 3rd largest sports attraction in the entire world. I'm from America and I play Rugby and i was very suprised to hear it was even bigger then "American" football's superbowl.

  3. If you are a member of a club, you could apply for tickets for the RWC well in advance and receive tickets in the ballot from your respective Union.

A large number have gone to the corporate packages, which are hugely inflated, but you could have paid face value through your affiliation with your club. Another reason for supporting your local club.

Although they are expensive and I agree completely with the concept of supply and demand, it is only every 4 years that the RWC is played and only every 8 that it is in the Northern Hemisphere - so is that expensive. Probably not in the scheme of things.

RWC is third after Football World Cup and the Summer Olympics.

  4. There expensive cause its a game worth watching and cause alot of countries around the world participate in it. My boys The All Blacks (from New Zealand) are going to bring the Cup home this year. Now there a team worth watching!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. The old age adage of supply and demand. Rugby is very popular (and rightly so) and therefore tickets are in huge demand. When anything is in huge demand the price goes up accordingly.

Unfortunately a very large number of seats for the final will be sold as part of corporate packages and therefore be people on a free ride for the drink etc rather than true fans. But that is no different in any sport it's just a shame it takes seats from true fans and is one big reason why seat prices are expensive as companies jockey for the kudos of taking people to a World Cup event or ultimately the final.

At least the TV coverage is very good and all games are available to view one way or another.

  6. Supply and demand. You can get thinks cheaper if there is a lot of supply and very little demand.

Tickets for the match between Scotland and Romania at Murrayfield are £10 each which is significantly less than a club match because no one wants to watch them, the final is expensive because several Million people want to go there and there's only 50 000 seats after the corporates.
