  1. gold is the best conductor ( ok, maynot be the best one but much better than the rest)

it is not used much ( if u r wondering why ) because of its high cost

  2. Gold is a better conductor than steel, aluminum or copper, and it does not corrode.  Silver is a better conductor than gold,  but it does oxidize (tarnish).

  3. That would be because some metals can flow current more easlily than others and so it would reduce the time for data to be sent.

  4. Electrons flow easier through Au as opposed to steel, aluminum or copper.

  5. better conductivity  and doesn't corrode

  6. that is because different metals have different conductive qualities, which will increase the speed of the information being sent. Also gold looks good and does not wear and corrode like steel, aluminium and copper.
