Why are two browsers trying to open?

Question

When I have 1 Internet Explorer open a 2nd one wants to open and then locks up the computer saying it is trying to connect. I can get rid of the 2nd one by ctrl, alt, delete and when the task manager comes up I can click on the 2nd one and end task. Why is it trying to open a second browser?

Hey you can solve this problem

Just go to Internet properties there Homepage Keep it blank

Or in Connections  set option newer dial a connection usually this hangs up computer.
