Why are two of my hamsters nipples swollen?

She is in with a male and they are dwarf hamsters but only two out of her four nipples are swollen and i mean really swollen

quit touching them! but uh take her to the vet and ask why cause it could be just an allergic reaction or she's pregnant ^_^

She might be lactating, and getting ready for her pups. I can garuntee she's pregnant since she's in with a male. I would bet my life on it. Your best bet is to now get the male out of the cage with her.. and wait for the babies to be born

maybe if she already has babies the babies drink a lot of milk and they also bite it so maybe thats why it is swollen and if it doesnt have babies then i dont know

maybe bacteria or there infected maybe even pregnat but the best thing i can say is take her to the vet

I would say your hamster is pregnant. If your female hamster does have pups, remove the male because the male and female will probably breed after they give birth and i dont think you would want too many babies. Hope this helps
