  1. NOT EVERYONE IS BORN WITH BIRTHMARKS, BUT SOME CAUSES OF BIRTHMARKS HAVE 2 DO WITH THE AMOUNT OF IRON U CONSUME DURING YOUR PREGNANCY...I HAVE SEEN A LOT OF PEOPLE WITH A DARK GREEN SPOT ON THEIR ARM, LEG, FACE, BACK...THE LIST GOES ON...

  2. thats a good question i heard that its cuz while they were giving birth of in the process of it , they craved something. basically a craving. some people dont have birthmarks at all

  3. birthmarks have many underlying causes and some of them may indicate a problem.

for example, if someone is born with Blaschko's lines, a zebra-like pattern on the back that only shows up under black light, it indicates a condition called chimerism, where they literally have more than one set of DNA in their body (ie, the DNA from their blood doesn't match the DNA from their skin or the DNA from one t******e isn't the same as the DNA from the other, and so on).

a bruiselike pattern on the lower back and buttocks (usually) is very often seen in children of asian and mixed asian heritage.

a dark red mark called a strawberry nevus, and another called a "storkbite" are caused by an overgrowth of small blood vessels (capillaries).

pale patches are caused by a deficiency of melanin in that region.

    and so on.

what the mother does is HIGHLY unlikely to result in birth marks.  in other words, if the baby was born with a hare lip, it has nothing at all to do with the idea that the mother was frightened by a rabbit while pregnant.
