We say, "the camera adds twenty pounds". That's as may be, but if I were an aspiring model I wouldn't put my health in danger for it. We need to aspire to a more realistic body image, both for men and women. Who agrees?

  1. What culture of anorexia? Most Americans are obese.

  2. There will always be a "beautiful" standard whether we like it or not, it's just the way society is. It's up to the individual to decide whether they have a mind of their own to create their own beauty. If our culture glamorized overweight women, the shoe would be on the other foot.

  3. A lot of European countries... models with too low of a BMI aren't allowed to model

  4. That's what happens when you live a plastic world where society is just to blind to think on their own and see the painful realities.
