  1. Money, honey. For weasels in high places. For the giant corporations. For the arms and machinery suppliers. And for the coffin makers.

  2. Don't you pay attention? We are in Iraq because of "weapons of mass destruction" and in Afghanistan because of bin laden  but mostly because of radical Muslims who want us dead

  3. Because we have to go after the terrorists, before they can attack us again. And they will keep comin at us. Glad we have a President who understands that.

  4. Because Afghanistan backed Osama Bin Laden, and if you recall he is the piece of c**p that has attacked the U.S. several Times.

Don't forget about the Our Troops are fighting for our safety

  5. because of the terrorists

  6. We are not -- not in any legal sense.

People through around the word "war" -- but under the US Constitution, only Congress can declare war. And Congress never did.

We are engaged in a political crusade against an emotion (the so-called "war on terror") and we are engaged in a legal occupation of Iraq (the so-called "war of Iraq") but neither of those are legally war. They are just phrases through around without any legal meaning.

As to why, because we have a nation that's paranoid and prejudice, and a leader who is a fanatic.

  7. We all know the reasons we went, we don't need to rehash that.  However the reason Why we went, has absolutely no bearing on the fact that we are there and we now need to see it through.  If we leave too soon there will a veritable genocide in Iraq.  AQI and other Islamist groups are blood thirsty and ruthless.  They will destroy men, women, children, livestock, whatever to establish their will and get into power; and they are.  Check out Michael Yon's blog: http://michaelyon-online.com/  he has some incredible reports of horrific AQI activities.  This is an enemy that must be defeated.  We cannot allow another million of people to die because we Americans have no backbone and are sissy.  We have an obligation to help protect the people there.  So why we went there is not important anymore.  Certainly we all wish we could go back and not do it, but hind sight is 20/20.

  8. To prevent the terrorists from attacking us here again

  9. To get Oil.

    (and supposedly stop "terrorism")

9/11 just gave Bush the support he needed to do what his father started.

That is why you should not commit acts of terrorism... it empowers your enemy with pity and support from everyone else.

However, we can't just simply "get out" because there is so much going on over there and we need to occupy until it is safe to withdraw our troops and protect ourselves.

We also (according to about 50% of Americans) need to help the Iraq people become "liberated" and "democratic".

This is no easy task with their religious leadership being as butt-headed as it is.

  10. oil profit for neocons

  11. cause were stupid thats why! :)

  12. There are many valid reasons that began long before 9/11 but that's when we finally responded.

I can't explain them all in this small space, but I've made a start in my blog:

If you are willing to look into the minds of the serial killers we call our enemy.  If you are willing to accept the truth.

Or if you just want to see our wars, through the eyes of a combat veteran that has been to both fronts of this war on terror, unpoliticized, objective and backed by independent research, read my blog:
