Why are we inundated with slow flies?

Question

We seem to have a large number - say 10 a day of slow flies buzzing around the flat. They don't seem like normal flies as they are so slow and big and fly right up to you.

Not nice. Any ideas?

No ideas sorry, but I have also had loads of big flys in. My cat eats them though.. so not too much of a problem

Stupid flies, they are bulging with Larvae and trying to lay them in your skin.

I think what you are describing are Lesser House Flies. Are they circling the light fittings etc and flying in a sort of triangular patten?

If so you need to unblock your gutters as they breed in the organic matter in them. If these are clear check your drains.
