in overcrowded cages with no food or water in extremely hot weather.. I've seen sick horses with mold on their coat with no food & drinking filthy water and people selling puppies out of the trunk of ther car

If you don't believe me go see for your self saturday - Sunday

The reason these things happen is ignorance and avoidance. The truth is, the main consumer market for flea markets are low-income people. Poor people can have it as bad as not being able to feed themselves and their families, or not being able to pay for rent, or even medical care. If you were in the position of these people, the last thing you would be thinking about is the welfare of animals.

It is easy to disregard something that does not speak your language, and ignore any possible suffering it might be experiencing. It is also a heck of a lot easier to just keep walking ratherthan turn around and make a fuss, and get involved in legal stuff. This is what most people, regardless of income tend to do.

Now those conditions are illegal, so by all means, please contact someone! Police, animal shelters, maybe even your local news. Please do your part to stop it.

I can't imagine something so barbaric going on. Most of the flea markets in my area prohibit the sale of any animals, besides fish.
