Why are we only putting the pressure on Russia?

Why is everyone ignoring the fact that Georgia killed basically 2000 people including russian and georgia citizens with bombings on there own city? Does the word genocide ring a bell to anyone? I do not agree with the extent that Russia has taken this, but i'd at least like for the media to for once to share the full truth of the situation going on which is Russia 'invaded" only after Georgia decided to bomb its own city South Ossetia which included a majority of Russian citizens and Russia peace keeping troops. Lets see a country bomb and kill thousands of U.S. citizens including troops and see how fast President Bush reacts.

*Hint "Global war on terrorism'

Does anyone agree that Georgia is also to blame for this conflict?

  1. Had Russia not stepped in and Georgia had continued unabated who knows how many more Ossettians would have been massacred and the world would be crying out at Russia for standing by.

    Georgia were out of order.

  2. The "2000 ossetians dead" figure isn't a fact.  The Russians claim it's true, but no evidence has been presented.

Ossetians provoked the action by Georgia.

See the links below.  See?  I've explained the situation.  Georgia is not to blame for trying to control it's own territory.

  3. they are winning.

  4. I feel that Georgia is reaping what it sowed. They did basically what you stated and were punished.Exactly how much Russia is going to punish them is entirely up to them.Truthfully I think they have suffered enough. Many people don't know about the pilgrims that Georgia actually murdered.

  5. Putin wants the cold war back so the USA is accommodating him. Do you remember the cold war? This is how it works. The US would side with the devil himself if he was against the Russians. And sometimes we did just that.
