  1. No one person is independently resourceful. It is also human nature to socialize. Our basic skills of comprehension depend on our ability to interrelate. It is also impossible to live a life of solitude in a crowd that is operating in the opposite fashion. Even if you are aggoraphobic, you still need to have food and everything else you desire delivered.

  2. i depend on nobody but myself.

  3. Because we are social creatures.  Solitude is lonely.

  4. So- dependent on others, may be for you. We can depend on others for grocery, work, certain things. But we don't need to live like gangs...do we?

  5. See the film, "Into the Wild"...Happiness is only real when shared.

  6. You can, theres no reason why you should be dependant on another

  7. We are dependent on one another because it's in our DNA. It's how we've survived.

  8. many people are afraid of failing.  that's why they depend on people, religion, horoscopes and even Yahoo! Answers.

it's not that people don't know how to live freely, they'd just prefer it if someone told them what to do.  unfortunately, leaders act independently, with a following, but they are dependent on those followers to listen.  you can't change views if there's no one to listen.

it's a Catch-22.  you either need to listen to people, or you need people to listen to you.

humans are social creatures.  when i was in college, i went to egypt by myself.  it was fun, being independent in such a foreign country, but there was so much of that experience that i can't Share memories with other people.  i can only tell stories and show pictures, and honestly, people don't really care.  they think it's cool and all, but since they weren't there to experience it with you, it doesn't matter to them.  i was in solitude in the desert, looking for someone to share it with, and when i got back, people didn't care because they didn't share it with me.
