Why are we still c**p(England)?

im watching this first half,and yet again we have no idea how to break a average team down,and why play beckham when bentley is the future,surely we know all about beckham now,wes brown has just scored so its 1;1 but i still say were shocking.

our team is c**p because they only want money only some of them are deditcated to the team example look at lampard he plays so well at chelsea and he plays **** for england

Im not sure what the problem is with the England set-up but this happens far too often for my liking. If i had the chance too wear an England shirt I know I would sweat blood for my country every time i pulled it on.

It seems to me players seem to think of playing for England as an inconvenience in the season, only wanting the glory in the big games and tournaments, and when those big games come around this is exactly why they dont perform, there not used to performing in the England shirt. (Honestly try and think of the last great performance......Im going back to 2001 against Germany)

A winning mentality is habit forming, as is a performance mentality, If everytime they put the shirt on they knew the lads around them would be giving 110% they would themselves........ But sadly that isnt the case.

We need to get the pride back into these lads, then maybe we will have more success.

the england team are **** because they have no sense of pride and passion. they don't even sing the national anthem they should be singing at the top of there voices with there hand on them 3 lions but they don't because they have no pride or passion. i was at the game and i would rather see a team that lost every game yet run their hearts out and showed pride and Passion. and I'm sick of people saying we have WORLD class players we don't a WORLD class player is some one that can play in world cups and on the international stage our players don't they look good in the premiership but not there country so how can they be WORLD class when they don't perform on the international stage. no pride and passion and players who don't care england have major problems and we ain't good enough we need a a manager that will bring the passion and pride in them and drop the players that don't play well what would be the whole team right now. we need someone that will not treat them like stars because they ain't some mangager who would give them a ****** kick up there arses.

Other countries scout their players from a young age, Eg In portugal, scouts go around streets, and see kids from about the age of 5,

England waits until they are 12.

At 5 they can be trained up with the best, and become the best.

At 12, theres alot of playing catch up going on.

Also, players dont appreciate the game, They play for money, not for passion of the game. Too Much Ca-Ching basically.

Considering England invented football, we arent flying the flag for the country are we

The problem with English football and the England team is like this,there are to many foreign players in the top English Championships and not enough home grown talent.Because of the amount of foreign players in English football home grown talent(english players) do not get a chance to progress thus leaving the England manager very little choice of players that are good enough to play for England.Look at the top teams ie Chelsea,Arsenal etc most of their players are foreign.It's about time clubs in England had limits on how many overseas players they can have on there books
