  1. that's why it says "prediction", ita because, they might be wrong about it.. and just wishing it could be.. and sometimes, it is really wrong to predict, but others are thankful about it because something good might happen to them.. who can tell??


  2. meteorology is not an exact science.  It's hard to make educated guesses.

  3. Because, most of them are averages from 40 years back on the same day..........Like for the 1st May 2008, they look at 1st May 1968 onwards for averages.

    Also they have satelites in space which sees clouds and stuff coming in, they analyse them. And sometimes they think the clouds are going to go by quickly when actually it isn't so..

    Its like a combination.

  4. that's because in every weather model.. we use lots of assumption.. though in reality.. some of our assumptions might not happen..

    so thats why in every weather model it is mentioned how much the error is..

    percentage of error shows that there is a chance of weather forecast to give wrong prediction.
