Why are western women portrayed as loose and anti men in the east?

Being from a third world country and having interacted with some of the most prominent feminists i fail to understand why western women are portrayed as loose and anti men in comparison to asian women?

Western women embrace the idea of equality and are ready to contribute as well as use their rights . Is that so bad???

Asian women are only concerned about rights and priviliges and still think the man should be the sole bread winner but at the the same time they want preferential treatment.

Is it high time we had review of those western women who we have been bashing as anti men and anti faimly?

Many middle eastern women say that western woman don't know how to treat men.

Because people tend to judge what they don't understand. If women don't conform with their ideals, being more submissive then they will think they are anti men or anti family.

Women have to work more in the US because of the standard of living that everyone wants here. The women here are not satisfied with waiting for a man to come home. All the responsibilities are shared 50 - 50 between the men and women (including raising kids). I don't think women are "loose." You must be watching some t.v. show like Two and a Half Men. The truth is, men wish the women were more easy. They wish they didn't have to work so hard to impress the women because women in the US expect a lot out of life.

Yes, it makes no sense. There are no more (percentage-wise) lose Western women than other region's women.

To answer your question, one must ask who stands to gain from this stereotype.

Some Asian men may not want the local women to compete with them for careers so they don't want local women to admire the Western women.

Some Asian women may want to protect their status as shoppers who don't work outside the home.

The bashing is wrong and should stop. It's a ruse for other aims.

Women employing their rights to obtain and keep a job to earn money for herself or her family is all fine and dandy.

It looks all happy and good if you only look at the good things.

But along with the few up sides of a western woman, you have a whole boat load of down sides.

-She'll constantly complain about any little thing.  Throw temper tantrums like a child (or the opposite, silent treatment BS).  

-She'll think she's right in any situation just because she's a woman.

-She'll constantly belittle and brow beat her boyfriend/husband...  and the nagging, good lord, the nagging.

-They pretty much hate to see a man be happy.  In their eyes, men should only seek to make women happy, not ever themselves.  Men should only obtain happiness through the satisfaction of having made a woman happy.

Of course this is not all.  Just the typical.

Good question, probably because the West is really advanced & more "freethinking" depending on who you ask. I'm from Ethiopia & the men in my country say that "American girls are for practice" but they marry Ethiopian girls, it's sad really.
