Why are women drivers so bad?

Not to be offensive or anything, but it seems like everytime I see someone cut someone off, swerve accross two lanes to get on an offramp on a cell phone, tailgate, roll through a STOP sign, or do a jackrabbit start it's always a woman? I would seriously like to know if there is a sceintific reason!

I had a woman tailgater that was rediculously close to my car and I was doing 7 mph over. I brakechecked her and she swerved off to the right and she almost went off the road. Later when I turned she was screaming out the window and I was laughing at her. Again, this morning this same situation happend, only I never breakchecked her! she just tailgated me and yelled after i turned.

where I live in a college town, I find it just as equal... so in all fairness I am going to say both men and women are equal at it but where I live its the young college kids.... On any given day you can see them hot rodding their cars, tailgating, passing you  when they shouldnt be,.... I guess the only people they are impressing is themselves!!

Male drivers are bad too, but they're bad in different ways.  Male drivers tend to drive way too fast and are usually more aggressive behind the wheel, taking risks they really shouldn't.  My experiences are the opposite of yours -- when I see someone doing a five-lane sweep to get on an off-ramp, tail-gating, rolling through a stop sign, or doing a jack-rabbit start it's a guy 95% of the time or better.

Women, on the other hand, tend to drive at slower speeds and don't seem to run red lights as much.  The problem is women are not nearly as vigilant about seeing and knowing what's going on around them.  Also, women drivers are much worse in terms of yakking on their cell phones and drifting lanes or making lane changes without looking, etc.  I have several relatives in law enforcement, and the story is the same when it comes to women -- when they get in an accident, the response from the woman is "I didn't see (fill in the blank -- the person in the next lane, the stop sign, the guy on the motorcycle, etc.)."

P.S.:  The women drivers that I have seen that drive in an aggressive manor are the WORST drivers I have ever seen.  The only reason they haven't totaled their cars (yet) is the rest of the people on the road see them and avoid them or are prepared for their stupidity.

P.P.S.:  Slower is NOT always safer.  A person doing 55 MPH on a major freeway when everyone else is doing 70 MPH is a traffic hazard.  A person doing 55 MPH in the left lane of a 70 MPH freeway needs to have their license revoked.

It seems to me that your looking for someone to breakcheck and your probably driving in the left lane. Why don't you get out of the fast lane and stop purposely trying to p**s everyone off?  Just for the record, your mom is also a women so I guess you are calling her a bad driver too.

Mm, I have to disagree with you there, I think women are actually half decent drivers, Or that could just be because the men in my family drive like htey are at the kentucky derby. Constantly speeding, swerving.

Now you get my mom or somebody in the car, you won't be going over 55.

Women normally have slightly slower reaction times than men, and also their depth preception isn't as good.  They just don't realize it sometimes.
