I guess it depends on what kind of illegal DVDs you are talking about.  In general, I think women may be less likely to sell illegal DVDS because they are less likely to take risks.  After all, we socialize women to be cautious and men to be risk takers.  Of course, this is not to say that one would not find women engaging in illegal activity.  Women do commit crimes.

Eh?  Is there a study somewhere that supports this statement?  Considering some of the idiot things that merit "study", I wouldn't be surprised.  But, in specific reply to your question, I can't imagine why a woman would be more likely than a man to sell an illegal DVD.  I have more to do with my time than download pirated music and video.
