Why are women so fascinated by shopping?

Men (generally) shop when they need something. Women (and I know this is a sweeping generalisation) seem to like shopping for the sake of it. Why? What is the fascination?

It's fun to get new stuff and just to hang out with your friends, try stuff on, and see all the new kool things out there to keep up with the trends

idk but my wife is addicted to energyscales.com she spends all my money there. i hate that gold diggin w***e. im glad i got pre-nup

I don't enjoy it as much as I used to - maybe its because I've had to rein in the spending!!..

It's an in built reaction that they have. Its like a survival instinct except one to "shop 'till you drop"

cos it better than sitting at home with there partners telling them what to do and when they r hungery. why r men so lazy and fasinated buy p**n,bikes,cars and football.

They have smaller brains than men and so are more easily satisfied with trivial things.
