Why are women so superficial, why do feel its wrong to be themselves?

women are so entrapped by the media. everything on tv is for them and they by 90% of stuff they dont need. to look pretty for some rich guy they think they diserve while doing nothing to earn for themselves.

Lady in the same sense you re trying to look pretty for the opposite s*x as well. Why are you talking down about women? YOU ARE A WOMAN! Stop it!! And to that other chick who thinks she is such a rarity of her own kind, no, you re not.You might be the one who is narrow minded. Ironic?Men are superficial as well. It doesn't matter what s*x you are, it matters your preference of lifestyle. If that bothers you, so be it. But hating on your own team? C'mon now...get the facts straight before you insinuate.

Because they have been programmed to not think for themselves but for what others think of them.  Many are not in touch with themselves and are constantly chasing products and "things" to make them whole.  

The beauty industry has created this demand for beauty outside of oneself, creating a void that perhaps the next beauty magazine can help fill.  

Me personally, am not superficial and many women resent me for it.  They say I am mean, that I intimidate them.  And treat me as an outcast.  I believe in being free.  No name brand defines me.  I am my own brand and I define myself and when they see that they once again feel that void.  I make clothing, jewelry and perfume.  I am a singer, a writer and a researcher.  I believe in critical thinking and I dont mind getting my hands dirty.  Men admire me, women hate me.

Everything on TV is for women? On what planet?

Given that women are half the population, and that there's TONS of TV specifically directed to men, I find that an odd statement.

If you find yourself being superficial, and buying stuff to look pretty for some rich guy, stop.

But to conclude that ALL women are like this is insane.
