Why are women the way they are?

I am just getting over an intense anger towards women, because after much study and observation I find that most are much more manipulative and greedy than most men. They are one the whole less compassionate and downright cold than men. I don't want to think this way about women. It's just hard not to when you see the lack of virtue (in the completely secular sense) that they usually demonstrate. Like Boccaccio wrote, "there are many women beautiful in body, but enemies of virtue." Why do they not respect themselves more??? ah I do not understand!!!!! Explain this to me???

Women don't receive the same "do the right thing" type messages that men do, don't expect them to play by the same rules as you do and you won't be disappointed, you are more honest and honorable, that's just the way it is.

Female dishonesty and manipulative behavior is glorified in the media at the moment, it was demonized in the past and no doubt it will be again some time in the future.

All the answers that I have read  have all seemed what's the word? Sexcixt? to say the least yes men and women are treated differently yes, but now here is the thing women now a days are being more conceited all you see on T.V. Are women wearing all these sorts of clothes that are very revealing even now if you go into stores even the lil girls section the clothes are more "sluttish" if you will... women are conceited in these times my dear friend but it is a Fad it will go away soon you'll see and no my comment is not sexcist I'm just plainly stating the truth anywhoo most children today watch things as MTV and if you can see all the women are "hot" as they would say and are all wearing s**t like clothings... like one day I had been browsing around walmart and I saw a little girl wearing nothing more but a mini skirt and a bikini top and as I was leaving I saw a chubby woman in skimpy clothing *sigh* that young girl growing up in such a likely matter will grow up conceited and believing she is the hottest woman in the world *sigh* now then to prove I am not being biased I will prove something about us men now lets see what about us is similar? Hmmm ah I know I shall talk about conceited men known as "gangsters" hah a sad poor fad truly I hate this fad a cheap imitation of the mafia KKK and n**i's yes n**i's is a gang a german one anywhoo these gangsters think they are so awesome "spitting out some fast rhymes" and their baggy pants and super size me capn shirts they think they are tough but truly being tough has nothing to do with fighting shooting stealing jumping killing or even acting it for a matter gangsters be livin in the ghettoe and the hood yo HAH MORE LIKE THE DUMP AND THE MUCK *ahem* (I have issues as you can see) okay change of subject I fear I am off subhect with "gangsters" lets see ah "buff" men yes they may be strong but they are dumb brutes... brute strength is nothing without logic to back it up well I can think about many flaws for both men and women so if you ladies or gentlemen wish too know more about your own flaws or need help in life *yes I know I'm young but my mentality is strong* just message me well I'm sorry my friend but I must sleep now ciao ciao ^.\\

Society is more accepting of women adopting the more "evil" traits of humanity. But in the short of it, it is our own fault. If we firmly said no play by the rules there behavior problem would end.

       (not all women are evil. I would say 1/4-1/3 are actually good,decent human beings. Just like not all guys are good.

      In the western world I would say 40-50% of guys are good.. outside of the western world it gets bleaker)

       But than again you can ussually spot manipulative or hatefull people a mile away.

        I hope this isnt a nice guy thing though...

   I really dislike them. I wonder if the "NICE guy" could be considered evil?

        (Objectifying women holding them up to a pedistal than when reality doesnt conform to fantasy get all angry and stuff?)

You are looking through the eyes of bitterness.

There are manipulative and greedy people of both sexes.

You need to grow in experience in knowing more women.  We may not figure them out ( love the mystery ), but we can learn to live with them.

Don't let anyone walk over you, learn to be tenacious but gentle in a relationship.

A woman is won in her mind, she "feels" love.  She is an emotional being ( that can be both good and bad ), but if you try most will give you the benefit of the doubt.

ALL women are not the same.

To be honest, I'm sorry you feel this way about women. If I decided to hate men because of every jerk who has broken my hurt, screwed me over, physically hurt me or emotionally scared me then I wouldn't be in the wonderfully happy place I am today.

Things like virtue, respect, honesty and integrity aren't inherently male or female traits they are programmed into us by society, our parents, our peers, our teachers, coworkers, etc. Each person has different experiences in life and that shapes who they become.

I really don't know what else to tell you. There are plenty of women out there who I'm sure fall under your category of virtuous and respectful but humans(both men and women) are exposed to violence and corruption from infancy until the end of our lives. It's hard not to let that change you but the ones who do have great strength of character. Those women are out there, just as those men are out there.

There is good and bad in both genders across the world. It all comes down to the individual. It's unfair to both men and women to go into a relationship/friendship with preconceived notions about what that person will be like when you don't truly know them.

Life is a journey and it's hardly ever easy or fair but you have to push through it and you have to keep searching. To give up, to bail out on the men and women around you is to do nothing more than lead a half-life.

Hormones...they are "programmed" to be certain ways via nature just like men are "programmed" to be in others.  Neither of us are better or more "right," we are just different.
