Why are you a Republican? Why would you vote for McCain? ?

What type of beliefs makes you sway your vote to his side? This is a serious question.

He's a true war hero. He's an experienced leader with good judgment as evidenced by his advocacy of the surge. He'll allow offshore drilling to help ease the shortage of oil. He'll establish border security before allowing a path to citizenship, and he won't promise to bring in extended families of immigrants to swell the immigrant tide like Obama is promising to do.  McCain has fought against pork throughout his career, and has promised to end earmarks in congress.

Someone recently sent me an e-mail that makes a lot of sense.  Have you noticed that most democratic leaders are lawyers whereas most republican leaders come from the entrepreneurs and businessowners?  Think about it...it makes sense to me.

Republicans understand the economy because they have money management skills from owning businesses.  Democrats have no clue how to make fiscals "ends meet" as applies to our government.  All they know to do is "tax and spend".

I am also a Republican because I believe in the sanctity of human life and also the other civilized ideas that keep human beings afloat.  Ever read that book about people being stranded on an island and they all went crazy?  The Bible keeps people living a domesticated lifestyle.

Mostly cause we NEED ENERGY!   McCain supports Drilling and building new Nuclear Clean Air Plants that will provide hundreds of thousands of jobs and it will bring down costs of living, and fuel and food and much more!  Plus we would not have to fund the terrorists by purchasing foreign oil!    We have to START NOW!   ENERGY!   We need that BRIDGE till we reach the Alternatives everywhere!

First. Because who would want to vote for Obama.

1. His wife is sort of still racist.

2. He was in a sort of 'support the black power' organization. even when he's only half he grasped most of his african american heritage

3. he does not have much experience in politics. he's quite new to it.

4. he promises things like cutting taxes but hes just saying that to win your vote. think about it: how could he do this? our economy is bad. we need to make money and they do that by collecting taxes.

5. a lot of people want him being the "rockstar". a lot of my friends like him because he's young, and not some old man.

6. people like him because he's great at giving speeches. he has great charisma but thats about it. hence the lack of political experience.

i would vote for McCain.

1. He has a lot of experience.

2. he has been a Prisoner Of War and totally deserves it.

mehh. thats all i know about it. i'm not quite sure about what changes they both want to make....I'm only 14. But I know that I would not want to vote for Barak Obama.

While McCain isn't perfect, he's light-years ahead of Obama on the issues that matter to me.

The belief that the President should not hang around with criminals (Rezko) racists (Wright) and terrorists (Ayers).  The belief that if you suceed in life you should be able to enjoy it- not have it taken by the government to support people who are to lazy to work.  The belief that the President should have some experience (not 143 days in the senate).  The belief that it takes a lot more than a community organizer to be president.

He doesnt promote baby murder, he will not try to take my guns, He is for not raising my taxes, He will protect this country and her interests. He wont bow down to the UN. He doesnt support g*y marriage. He has never taken an earmark and would be a good candidate to try a line item veto out on. He is a dedicated servant of his country and he knows what it is to sacrifice for his country. I dont agree with him all the time, in fact he wasnt my first choice, but hes not Obama and I would never vote for BO.
