Why are you glad you don't have celebrity parents?

My reasons are...

1. Strange names such as "Sunday", "Apple", "Max & Emme"

2. almost 24 hours with NANNY.

3. No privacy, can't avoid media.

I never said I was...jk...I would say, if I had celebrity parents, I'd probably be dating some celebrity loser and the relationship would last all of 6 minutes...and I never would have had the chance to meet my wonderful perfectly non-famous fiance.

Well, I enjoy my privacy. I'm extremely private (although I tell anything on YA). My kids do have kind of ..uhmm.. *unique* names, though. LOL

I'm just glad because of privacy. I have always been aloof and I'm only really open to people I *click* with. I wouldn't be comfortable with any of my daily routines, even pumping gas, being in a magazine. That's just me.

well it'd be nice to have celebrity parents who spoil the heck out of you but im glad i dont have em because no one can replace my moms and two because you'd have the media following you 24/7 thats to much pressure.

Yeah. I would like to become famous now though. But I do enjoy having my childhood without the media following you everywhere 24/7.

It's a different lifestyle those families lead.  But I'm sure they learn to live with it just like you or I learned to live with our own particular circumstances.  Their normal is abnormal and worthy of sympathy in your eyes.  Chances are they see you or I as the unlucky ones that actually have to work for a living.  Who knows.  If my parents were celebrities, I would love them and respect them just the same.  Its just a title.

I want people to like me for who I am, not who my parents are. I also would feel compelled to punch people who had a poster of my mom half-undressed on their bedroom wall.

I get to spend time with my parents!

I don't have crazy people trying to take pictures of me all the time--I would probably strangle the paparazzi!

I get to live a normal life!

I like my privacy, and kids with famous parents don't generally get a lot of that.

Though, quite frankly, it's not so much that I'm glad that I don't have celebrity parents, as it is that I'm glad that I *do* have MY parents.

I'd rather have my parents, even if they were famous, than any other parents who weren't.

I don't know, it would depend on the celebrity.  There are many celebrities that include their children in their work and are very devoted.  But if I were Britney Spears' kid I think I would change my name and move to Alaska.  It just depends.  There's deadbeat and odd parents all over the place.  Celebrities aren't the only ones that can ignore and put their children off on other people to take care of them.  Sometimes they aren't called nannies either- sometimes they are sisters or grandmas.

Same as you-so I wouldn't have a strange name.  But also so that I'd know people who are spending time with me aren't doing so for my money or material objects.
