  1. cause in some states they can be considered "Pests" and can kill them or the ferrets can kill other animals.


  2. because they are good escape artists and if you live in an apartment or closed in community, they could get in someone elses house who might be allergic.

  3. I do not knoww, I live in California, and I loveee them. They seem so cute and nice. :)

  4. i no! Its sooo weird i mean when i looked on google they said that illinois was licensed to have it! And thats where i live, but i dnt get what the big fuss is!

  5. Some states consider ferrets to be wild animals, and they do not allow wild animals to be kept as pets. Other states/cities consider them to be "exotic" and that if they were released they would harm the environment around them (like destroy crops, etc.). And finally, others are scared of a rabies epidemic, even though ferrets get "dumb rabies" not "furious rabies" and die soon after getting rabies and cannot transmit it to humans.
