i've seen 10/11 year olds on this site (mostly girls) asking if they are pretty. i feel kinda bad that people this young are insecure about how they look. when i was that age, kids were too busy being kids to worry about those things. but it just seem like the age keeps declining. what do you think?

  1. Blame a media driven society. Any girl younger than 12 who is obsessed with her looks, is a victim of this. eventually, it is normal to have some sort of interest in ones physical appearance. But, 10 or 11 is nuts.

  2. When you were that age, you didn't have the internet or similar anonymous forum in which to voice the question.

  3. I've said this before and I'll say it again: American society is finished. It has entered the bottomless pit of social oblivion. These kids are insecure, sleeping around to get approval, and simply ****** up. And it's not the fault of the media, music industry or entertainment. It's the fault of their weak, self centered parents who weren't ready for a child to begin with.

  4. I usually see people answer with "you are too young" and that's it.

They are not even supposed to be on this site, according to the Guidelines.

And it's all ages. I've seen moms, grown men, etc. asking the questions. Recently saw one from a 37 year old

  5. Because medias are giving accent on physical appearance, not on  building their character
