Why are younger girls/women attracted to older women?

Question

My theory is that the age thing is the quivalent to the opposites attraction thing in males/females.

And look at Socrates and Ovid, Ancient Greece and Rome, they always mention an older and younger relationship between people of the same s*x... Im just interested what do you think it is?

I dont know why it is, my crush is 37 and I am 23.  She is just an amazing perosn, funny, kind and genuine.  Age is only a number to me.

i think it may have something to do with the fact that lots of younger girls act like they are trying to hard, like wear to much make up and that but older women just pull it off better

Cause there's something comforting about it I think. The whole nurturing thing feels nice. I sound really weird but thats how I see it. Sorry I didnt describe it too well

I am totally into women who are older. Many of them are so classy, upscale, educated... Certain level of respect and admiration I don't have for someone my age.

i would love to think so and i love that you asked this question! i am married to a man and still have felt and now am feeling an attraction to women slightly older than me. granted there have been a couple diff women...maybe we go through a phase? or maybe you see something in her you admire (because you say she is not necessarily super hot but you find other qualities about her that seem to get to you and turns you on to her-it is the exact same with me!)? i say good theory but have no other advise since i am in the same situation :)

I don't know about women but younger men are usually interested in the money older men have.
