As you might see from my avatar and profile i am a responsible person who really does try to answer questions to help people and not just give trite answers but so many times this particular area has people asking questions which they never rate nor give a star for - why? If the question is worth asking - it is worth answering and rating - it's only good manners after all and makes us all feel worthwhile???????

  1. I don't know.  I try to give good answers to the questions asked.  I do take the time and my almost 16 years of volunteer service to help someone else

  2. This is the fifth time you have asked this question and had a similar response to all of them.

There are thousands of questions on here, I wouldn't give the time of day to, let alone answer or rate. I like many others would rate by voting. In my opinion stars are earned and not a matter of good manners. I will give stars occasionally, but only to the questions I feel are interesting to me.

  3. Maybe you would get better ratngs or more thumbs up if you had a better attitude rather than ranting at someone about their "stupid problem" I don'tt know about others but I try to give a thumbs up if I see a very good answer and if something is very bad a thumbs down otherwise frankly there is no reason to rate something because there is no way to say so and so is 1st place good so and such is 3rd place good there can be only one best answer and maybe your answers have not warrented either a thumbs up or a thumbs down.   Here's an example.  I would give your orginal question no rating ie a nurteral rating but after I read your add on I'd give it a thumbs down if we could do that on questions.

  4. I think this is a good question.  I take a bit of time to try my best when answering the questions.  I know I don't do it for the points or recognition but have to admit when I do get some it feels very good.  Maybe some people forget or just don't think past what they need from this area.

Who knows, I would wonder more about why this is so upsetting?  Can people be motivated to answer questions without some kind of potential recognition?  Is this all just a contest, a game?

  5. Honestly, I believe there isn't right or wrong answer. However, I do give a thumbs up if I agree with someone's statement. I don't like to give a thumbs down, because as I stated before I don't think there is a right or wrong answer.
