  1. even though he was in my neck of the woods today, i wouldnt waste my time going to listen to him.

  2. I like his policies better than McCains.  Actually I'm still waiting on the debates.  McCain hasn't said much of nothing.  The only thing I know is that he supports wars.

  3. The Bush Administration has failed in almost every way that it is possible to fail.

There are so many examples of this too numerous to list but you and both know what they are.

We need a president that will reverse the catastrophic failure of the Bush Admin.  McCain wishes to continue most of it.

Under Bush, individual freedom has dimished, the value of the dollar has declined vs world currencies.  Tax cuts to wealthy Americans forced the US treasury to borrow money to fund the deficits.  We have become a debtor nation(squandering the surplus that Clinton left).  Gas at more than $4.00 gallon with no response by the executive branch.  Katrina, the lies that got the USA in a stupid uneccessary war,  using the justice department to hire GOP hacks to do political prosecutions of the Democratic opponensts, unemployment and inflation up.

Obama is our best chance to undo this mess.

McCain is too stupid to realize that his ideas have already been tried and they have failed miserably.

  4. Anything besides more Bush.

  5. One reason: I don't want four more years of BUSH

  6. Very good question.  I don't know how anyone who calls themselves American can vote for Obama.  He wants to change all of our values.  Remember, he is "...his brothers keeper".  Well, his brother lives in Kenya on $1.00 per month.  What will he do to us!!

  7. i like his policies better than McCain/ Palin. I believe we cannot discriminate against g**s or muslims. I believe woman have the right to control their body. I believe we need a president who is liked in other countries (look at speech in Germany and he has lived in a Muslim country). I believe the big corporations such as the various oil companies and wal-mart have too much power and are getting away with so many things

personally, i think Kucinich would be the best president... Peace for all, Health for all, Love for all... he planned on changing the Department of Defense into the Department of Peace and run alliance treaties and only use military aggression for just causes. He wanted to reopen the American Steel Industry by rebuilding Amtrak. He wanted to give universal healthcare, upgrade our roads, and invest more in medical sciences. He wanted to upgrade our education, especially in rundown neighborhoods. He was against the Patriot Act, because he "actually read it" haha

    KUCINICH 2012!!!

  8. 1. He's extremely intelligent - Juris Doctor from Harvard - MagnaCumLaude.

    2. He inspire me, and my children.

    3. Obama has been state Senator from 1997-2004, and a United States Congress Senator for 4 years.

    4. He worked as a community organizer in my hometown Chicago for 4 years, helping poor people, and registering voters.

    5. I agree with his platform, and policies about health insurance, immigration, abortion.

    6. Obama is a family man; great husband, and a very dedicated father.  A loyal husband, contrary to McCain that cheated on his first wife, and a month after divorce her, married Cindy ($$$$$$).

    7. He is bringing back HOPE to America, and the rest of the world.

    8. etc, etc....

    7

  9. Two words: HURRICANE KATRINA.

    Trust me, I haven't forgotten.

  10. 1. I agree with his tax policy - decrease taxes for lower/middle class, increase taxes for upper class. The Bush upper class tax breaks haven't been helping the economy. Rich people save their money or invest it in emerging foreign markets - "trickle down economics" is a myth.

    2. I agree that we should leave Iraq. Obama's been right about the war all along. Obama has shown to me that he has the knowledge about the situation and the foreign policy ability to get us out of the bad situation we're in currently in Iraq.

    3. I agree with Obama's general foreign policy direction that we should negotiate with all countries. As compared to McCain's "bomb and ask questions later" approach, it's clearly the smart thing to do. Plus, bombing first and negotiating later hasn't been working so well for Bush.

    4. Health care. Obama's plan gives more health care to those who need it. It'll also increase benefits and decrease premiums for nearly everyone. McCain's health care plan is to let the market take care of it, and as we've seen, the market is clearly NOT taking care of it.

    5. Energy. Obama wants to focus more on alternative energy while McCain wants to give the oil companies more money (or, at least, maintain their current level of extreme subsidies, as directed by the Bush administration). Drilling won't help reduce oil prices, even McCain has admitted this - he thinks it'll mostly be a "psychological" benefit to gas prices. I don't think we need psychology, we need lower gas prices, and alternative energy for decreased consumption is the way to go.

    6. Social issues. Teaching evolution in schools, maintaining Roe v. Wade, the right to g*y marriage, all of those things - I agree with Obama on. I don't think they're important issues, because it's very likely that none will actually affect me as much as economy or energy will, but I'll just note that I agree with Obama instead of McCain on them. Also note that McCain has clearly changed his stance on these issues once it became apparent that his "maverick" views on social issues wouldn't be tolerated by the conservative base.

Hey, I went through the effort to type this all out off the top of my head, so I hope you at least read this, as I feel that I thoroughly answered your question. It's fine if you don't agree - most conservatives don't, since Obama's positions are mostly middle of the road liberal positions - but you should know that most Democrats know exactly what they're voting for when they vote for Obama. These policies have been spelled out time and again.

  11. I believe his energy policy.  Mccain just goes with popular opinion and I think he in bed with big oil or better yet the wife of big oil (Palin's husband works for BP).  Obama has a plan and is sticking to it. That shows me hes serious about it. Drilling is like saying you'll stop smoking crack after just one more high.

  12. I be black so I be voting for obama cause he black like me and he gonna give all of us stimulus checks in february and we gonna be able to do what we want because he be pres

  13. Because I really believe he can get our troups out of Iraq, where they never belonged in the first place.

  14. C'mon...everyone else if flipping CRAZY!!!!!

Duh Julia...well that's using your head....at least you made the right choice.

Oh Carol you make a good parrot....no wonder you're on McCains team.  CAAAAWWW....

  15. Because he is the lesser of the 2 evils.

  16. I don't know

I Wouldnt Vote For Nither Of Them

    I guess People Like Him!

  17. The respondents to this question so far, have proven your point. Not one single credible response so far.

You ask for specifics, they trash Bush.

They have no specific reasons. They are lemmings. No one can cite a single specific response, because Obama hasn't been specific about anything. They simply chant the mantra......change......change.....chang...

I find it very interesting that so many on the left, as recently as a couple of days ago, were gushing about how close a woman came to "breaking through that glass ceiling". Where are they now?

They don't care about women's rights, civil rights, tolerance or any of the other things that the elitists in charge of the Democratic party espouse. All they want is power. They will say or do anything to obtain it.

Let's see how they deal with the campaign now that they have to face one of those disgusting people that "cling to their guns and bibles".

    Face it Libs.

You are about to have the first female Vice President. Doesn't it make you feel proud for women everywhere?

Yeah right. Bunch of freaking hypocrits.

Edit: Jimmyeat, did at least attempt some specifics, the problem is Jimmy, You list perhaps a trillion dollars worth of expenditures that Obama will have to lay out, where is all of that money coming from while he is "cutting taxes for the middle class". You live in a dream world buddy.

  18. i dont need breast pumps littering the white house after mc cain dies of cancer. thats as  specific as i can get.

  19. No specific answers here.  Just stuff like "I like his policies blah blah blah."

Um, what are those policies that you like?  You were asked to be specific.  Elaborate!

Ruhe-Boy, what does Hurricane Katrina have to do with your decision to vote for Barack Hussein Obama?  This may be a hard pill for you to swallow, but agencies failed in EVERY level of government in response to the aftermath of Katrina, not just the federal level.  Yet the blame is set squarely on the shoulders of Bush and everyone else gets a free ride, including (now former LA governor) Kathleen Blanco and the mayor of "Chocolate City" Ray Nagin.

And Joe Jackson, the president is limited to two terms, so why are you so worried about Bush being there same time next year?  Maybe you need to take a class on Government or Civics if you haven't done so already...

  20. QUOTE:

"Considering you are already a McCain/Plain (yeah, I said plain) supporter, I dont see any reason why I should do it.... McCain/Palin vs. Obama/Biden.. enough said right there really."

Typical of clueless liberal rhetoric!!!  They don't have a clue so they will either insult or bury their heads in the sand and hide (in this case both)!!!!

  21. I am voting for Obama because i'm tired of getting people in the chair whos has payback on their mind. McCain has been a POW and you don't think he wants to get back like bush wanted payback for his father? I'm tired of going to Iraq fighting a NONSENSE war. I hate it with a passion and RIP to all the ones that gave their life. It wasn't their choice but its the fact that we love our country so much that we do it for them. Tired of leaders who only want for themselves but who want for the people and since thats what obama is talking them I'm for it.

  22. I think BLSm00th has the best answer and a good reason for answering it the way he has.

  23. because he cares more about the people who make up most of this country, the middle class. Rather than McCain would would only lower taxes on the rich and benefit big business. Obama is the man who can turn this failing country around and stop us from have 4 more years of the unsuccessful leadership we've had for the past 8 years.

  24. Because I agree with him on most of his political standpoints, and like his policies.

  25. I'm not voting for Obama.  I'm voting against McCain.
