Its the only country of the top ten which is not involved in a regular high level competition. Is it very difficult to create a 4 Nations?

  1. Maybe Fiji, Samoa, And Argentina should have their own tournament and not invite Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa

  2. The Pumas have applied to play in this Trinations tournament and it as the old 5 Nations tornament was before it became the 6 nations tournament with the inclusion of Italy

You also have forgotten FiJi and Samoa

Its an old tournament that was set up to play the best teams in the southern part of the world and they were only South Africa, New Zealand and Austraila then

Maybe it'll be come the 5 Nations soon.

  3. well, europe has the 6 nations cup (it used to be called 5 nations until they added italy a few years ago). i think that for the southern hemisphere region, the authorities should consider adding argentina in the tri-nations.

  4. Yes I agree then it would be the Quatro nations better than Tri.

  5. The Pumas deserve better.  Clearly the authorities in the SANZAR region and in Europe for that matter, believe that there's not sufficient benefit to themselves, and that it's logistically difficult to include Argentina in some sort of meaningful competition. In fact the reverse is true.  Most of the Argentina squad play in Europe, mainly in France.  Putting them in a training camp in the South of France and including them in a 7-Nations is the most sensible solution.  Playing games of out of Marseille at first, then playing the games in a block in Buenos Aires later.  This is achievable if the national unions stopped being selfish for once, and did something for the good of the game.
