Question:

Why aren't Europe, Russia, Japan and the Middle East infested with ghosts?

Millions died in abrupt, and not so abrupt, circumstances in the 20th Century wars. Some say that if you die suddenly, you don't realise you're dead and hang around being a nuisance. Others say that you might have some unfinished task. There's a lot of explanations offered for ghosts and hauntings.

Where are they all? Millions died so, on that premise, there should be Armed Forces and civilian ghosts as thick as a bad fog.

  1. ghosts and goblins exist. u know what the weird, paranormal stuffs and parasychology is my type. but i still can say that there r ghosts in russia which they call the ghosts of the n**i past. it is a rumour. but still i don't know why ghosts do not haunt the place which u have reffered. there is some sychological and scientific reason for it. i am sure but still i don't know what it is. sorry!

  2. Four possible answers:

    (1) They are.

    (2) People in those parts of the world don't have as active imaginations as we do.

    (3) Their ghosts have illegally immigrated to the US for the benefits.

    (4) There aren't any such things as ghosts... anywhere.

  3. Your question asserts that they are not, your reasoning is defective.

  4. goblins and ghosts aren't  real

  5. First of all, not everyone who dies in tragic circumstances stick around as ghosts...this is assuming that ghosts are spirits of the dead.

Secondly, why do you say that these places don't have ghosts? I'm sure they do. I don't know of any country that doesn't have some ghosts stories.

  6. I would wager that there are plenty of ghost sightings and occurrences of hauntings in Russia, Japan, and the Middle East. Europe in particular has plenty of paranormal haunts, think Prague. Ghost Hunters did a special where they went to Ireland and England and did some amazing cases (mostly in Ireland), but I think it's a matter of proximity, since you don't live in Europe you don't hear about their ghost stories as much as you do the one's here in the States.

  7. i find people from those regions to be VERY creepy---so who's to say they're not plagued with ghosts

  8. Oddly enough, I have collected ghost stories from all of those places, one from as recently as 10 months ago in Pakistan. They don't believe in ghosts in Islam, apparently, but that doesn't seem to stop them from being seen.

I also have seen evidence that what we call "ghosts" aren't necessarily the spirits of the dead, though without access to scientific equipment I would be hard-pressed to actually study something like that. I'd need the same stuff I can get here, and transportation over there (since I'm broke), and a decent doctor (since I have a heart issue that started this year, forcing me into retirement), and a psychotherapist (because having one, no matter what your profession, is just a good idea).

I should also point out that not everyone who died has had a ghost show up, though people who have died overseas have been reported to have appeared to people here in the US moments after their deaths, suggesting that people who die don't "stick around" the place where they died: they go to where it's comfortable for them, or where they think they need to be (not unlike living people, in that respect, though with seemingly fewer restrictions on movement).

There are ghost stories in those places you mentioned, though I've never heard of a ghost in Antarctica or in orbit, to name two places at random from the top of my head.

  9. First of all, how do you know there aren't a ton of haunted places in those regions? Second...spirits linger for a verity of reasons and residual hauntings (called "ghosts" by some paranormal investigators) are created a different times, for different people, for different reasons, or at least that's the idea.

  10. ghosts are EVERYWHERE. doesn't matter what area..

  11. if you don't live there, then you really don't know that's true. And there ARE millions of them out there. Just not all of them are a "nuiscance". Some of them are quiet and relatively invisible. You in death as you arein life. Noisy people make noisy ghosts, quiet people make quiet ghosts. Get it?
