what's wrong with better performance and automotive skill?

    what's wrong with simplicity?

did you think that the first automobile had an automatic tranny?

  2. Because people LIKE to drive manual.

Automatics fails "easier" because they are more complex.

    Good Luck...

  3. Many people prefer manual especially in high performance vehicles. Manual transmissions can be built to take much more horse power, and provide better control for people that know how to use them properly. Manual is often less expensive and more fun to drive for people that like shifting gears..

  4. manual gets better MPG

  5. Because there are some of us that don't like "girly" automatics.

Automatics generaly fail because of heat related problems.
