Assume that the earth on September 2nd, 2007 (in reference to it's orbit around the sun) was the same as it is now, why aren't the weather patterns the same year after year?

Also, assume that there have been no sunspots, etc.

  1. BECAUSE THIGH LIKE TO SURPRISE ALL Y'ALL.

IT GETS BORING UP HERE IN HEAVEN. SO THIGH MAKE STORMS TO WATCH THOU BOZO HUMANS RUN AROUND LIKE CHICKENS WITH THEIR HEADS CUT OFF.

    IT'S ENTERTAINING.

  2. Quite simply, the position of the earth relative to the sun is just one of many many factors influencing a chaotic system.  There is water temperature, air temperature, air moisture, winds, currents, and other weather and storm systems.  The sun alone is not the only input into the formation, duration and behavior of the components of the system, so unless all of the influencing factors were identical from one year to the next (and we can't know all of the influences - look up the 'butterfly effect'), one would expect whether patterns to vary year after year.
